As a seven-generation American, JC is the daughter of sojourners of the Great Migration and an WWII hero who earned his first medal before age 24. While proud of her outstanding familial pedigree, JC has built her life into a majestic masterpiece on her own terms. Raised by good old-fashioned Southern folk, she was taught to seize upon anything to improve her mind, which enabled her to ignore glass ceilings and silly caste systems.
